This is a picture of the Fairchild Air Force Base Cemetery. There are a remarkable number of infants buried here -- over 100. They died mostly in the Spring of 1955, 1956, 1958 and 1958. I wonder why.The cemetery overlooks the Spokane River to the North. It is adjacent to the Centennial Trail.
